This is Arcadia's warning to the people of the great city-states. They shall burn at the stake instead for they are worse than the monsters they worship. These cultists shall not sow fear and doubt among the populace. The cultists shall be purged from our cities wherever they are found. These fools who would open the gates of our great cities to the monsters in return for the promise that they, alone, would be spared from the night's wanton slaughter of innocents.įear not, people of the world, for Arcadia and your own leaders will stand against this menace. These fools find themselves at home in every city of our great land. They believe that by feeding their neighbor to the monsters tonight, they will be spared to live another day. They believe the Monsters will tear it down to the foundations given time. These were the beings these cultists prayed to for, despite all evidence to the contrary, these cultists do not believe in the civilization that man has built. Monsters that would devour entire tribes of men at the drop of a hat. These cultists are loyal to the entities of gods of old, the ones that promised protection from the monsters if only you would help the monsters eat your neighbor. It is through Arcadia that a word of warning also spreads, a word that should be heeded by all. These are the things trade unlocks for all. Funds to mass produce magical arms and armor in factories of your own design. Trade has powerful benefits in the form of revenue that you can use you to raise soldiers and mages to serve at your leisure. In their mind, all roads lead to Arcadia. There is no fee, no demand in return for Arcadia's generosity. For the first time, any and all are welcome to open trade routes with Arcadia. They had a great idea, but it fell flat and died due to them not keeping up with updating it and ignoring the community in order to make the actual game 100% P2W - meaning you literally are unable to play the game without paying for something because you can't get a certain point without having to buy the Diamonds to buy better gear.SV IC: Rise of Cities: Let the games begin ICĪrcadia, the would be mecca of trade, has opened its doors to the world for the first time. Honestly RoM could've been such an amazing game had they actually kept up with updates and got a new engine for it that wasn't complete shit. I don't even play there anymore and haven't for a long while but the people who do enjoy it because they like to switch things up and try different class combinations. Hell, I never spent a dime on it and got a bunch of stuff for max level (which I'm not yet), the community on the PS is actually alive and helpful. Someone mentioned the Private Server and honestly that's the only way to go with this game - they actually update things and although it's still P2W like the actual game itself, you don't have to spend $1200+ just to get anything, not to mention you can just get free Diamonds to get the items to help you level a lot faster. 90% or more of people you find in game are just bots. I just checked it out and there's not even an actual forum for it anymore, let alone a support team. They stopped actual updates years back and no longer have an actual website, it's just a plain Gameforge website. RoM died years ago after they kept switching shit up and saying they were going to update things but never did. Most play the private servers of it because they actually do updates. The community has been nonexistent for a long time, their forums are just spam bots posting advertisements, the in-game community is nonexistent also because there's maybe 10 or so actual people who still play the real game. RoM is dead and has been for years, sorry to break the news to you bucko.
